Rev. Joshua Walker - Teaching Elder - gmail.com@corflagstaff|
Joshua Walker was converted to Christ during his time in high school. Through the ministry of the local church, he heard about his sin and his need for a Savior and was converted to Christ. After high school, he married his high school sweet-heart, Krystle, in 2003. Both Joshua and Krystle are native to the Phoenix area.
Joshua received his Bachelors in Philosophy from Grand Canyon University (2006), and then he received a Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS (2010). He completed all degree requirements for a PhD in New Testament (2013) from McMaster Divinity College, except the dissertation (ABD), which is in Greek Linguistics. He also currently teaches at Grand Canyon University in the College of Theology.
Joshua and his wife live in the Valley of the Sun (Gilbert) with their son Calvin. Joshua has a passion for the gospel and proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. His conviction is that God will bless the church through the ordinary means of grace God has given to build up his body, which include, the preaching of the word, the administration of the sacraments (baptism and the Lord’s supper), fellowship, and prayer.
Please stay tuned for updates!

Liz Skowronski - Worship Team Leader|
Liz was born and raised in Kenosha Wisconsin, studied music at UW Parkside and Milwaukee Conservatory of Music. She also sang and recorded with North Texas State University Jazz Singers and studied with vocal coach Seth Riggs in Los Angeles, coach to Natalie Cole and Andrea Bocelli. She also enjoys songwriting/recording and recently attended Gloria Gaither’s song writing intensive where Stuart Townend instructed and is really looking forward to going again this year!
“And as interesting as all that was, nothing comes even close to how fulfilling and satisfying doing music is now!" says Liz. "I enjoy practicing more now than I ever did. I do practice more now than I ever did. You can’t be sad while you’re singing praise songs. You can’t be sad while you’re singing about God, who He is, what He’s done and His promises! There truly is a peace which surpasses all understanding. What a blessing to be able to live it!”
Liz met her husband Brian while in music school at Parkside and wholeheartedly enjoyed homeschooling their 2 sons David and Daniel. She fondly remembers Bible maps sprawled all over the floor during morning devotionals, Bible studies and the great blessing of learning together.
