Two-Year Teacher-Training Phase to Begin January 11th

        Pastor Bob Norton will be teaching seven select members of our fellowship in preparation to becoming teachers for our entire congregation.  These seven persons will be teacher-trainees for two years.  Each week they will gather for 2 1/2 hours of class followed by 6-8 hours of homework.  Their focus will be the Old Testament from January - June and September - December of 2010.  Then they will concentrate on the New Testament from January - June and September - December of 2011.
        After two very fruitful information sessions on Bethel, participants are stepping forward and making the commitment to be a part of this life-changing experience.  Bethel teacher-training phase graduates often have a better grasp of Bible content than seminary graduates.  The commitment is great.  The reward is even greater.  Church of the Resurrection will be a congregation founded on the Word of God in future generations due in part to the dedication and faithful service of these teacher-trainees.  Their names will be announced at worship on January 10th with a special commissioning and prayer blessing.
