Ministries

Music in Worship

We celebrate in worship with upbeat hymns and contemporary choruses. Our worship leader, Patty Gross, was a professional musician for ten years and brings a gift in leadership and musicianship. Singers and instrumentalists are welcome to join the team.

Small Groups

We're growing the church through small groups meeting in our homes. Relationships are essential at COR and we find that Christians grow best in small groups.

Small Groups - "Uniquely You"

Join us for a 6 week discovery pprocess identifying giftedness and personality traits every Tuesday evening from 7-8p starting September 9th.

Small Group - Book Discussion

Join us every Wednesday evening form 7-8p starting September 10th for our discussion on Tim Keller's book "The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism."

Small Groups - Alpha Express

We had such a great response to Alpha that we're hosting "Alpha Express" Wednesdays from 12-1 starting September 10th.

Children's Ministry

Some people are so gifted at nurturing children. Our Baby Church and Children's Church ministries are great places to love the babies and teach the children. We assure a safe, loving environment where children of all ages thrive.

Youth Ministry

Our youth director, Kadin Kirk, is an NAU student who knows the importance of quality youth ministry. Whether it's having a great time with recreation or talking heart-to-hear about youth and faith issues, Kadin is outstanding and the youth are finding God and enjoying great friendships in the process. Middle School and Senior High youth are welcome.

The Truth Project

This dynamic series is coming September 27th. How does a Christian worldview compare with secular, pluralistic worldview which our culture promotes? Christians are counter-cultural and are to live out the radical love taught by Jesus Christ. The Truth Project challenges participants to become thinking Christians willing to go against the conventional and often destructive "wisdom" of our times.

Outreach and Faith Sharing

Through Operation Andrew we reach out in love to our friends, family, and acquaintances seeking to make them welcome to our church. We canvass the neighborhoods of Flagstaff monthly to warmly and winsomely invite persons to our worship.

Prayer Ushers

After each worship service we have trained spiritual counselors ready to pray with persons seeking guidance and support.

Hospitality

Food and friendship go together and we gather on Sunday morning after worship for finger food and good conversation. Our hospitality ministers also provide meals for the homebound and open their homes as outposts of the kingdom for church events.
